Through Veterinary Physiotherapy, I want to help provide the best quality of life for your animal with each treatment. Whether this is through applying pain relief techniques such as massage and PMFT, or creating exercise programmes to help maintain or strengthen muscle. I will tailor treatments to meet your pet's specific needs.
SERVICES
Hello,
I'm Stacey, I am a University of Nottingham graduate with a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, having completed my postgraduate I am now a fully qualified, IRVAP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist. I have wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember. Through working in a dog and cat boarding kennels I have been able to see first hand dogs of all ages suffering from joint issues, which causes problems such as lameness, stiff joints and leads to them not able to exercise and play as easily. I have also volunteered at several horse yards and have seen that horses especially those in work often suffer from muscle soreness, tightness, and joint issues which can create behavioural changes due to pain and discomfort. From my experiences, my aims are to use Veterinary Physiotherapy to help treat, reduce pain and mitigate some of the factors that may be affecting the animal's quality of life, as well as helping to improve performance in animals that are competing. Using a variety of hands on techniques and electrotherapies will allow me to provide the best possible care for your animal, and by improving their quality of life we can have a much happier, healthier animal.
